A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Okay so jeez, we talked for pretty much sixteen hours yesterday? He started texting me at 7:56 and it basically went on and off until past midnight. Eek. I don't like texting.... D: It's better when we just talk on the phone, even if I can't always hear/understand what he's saying. Sometimes when people text/IM they seem different. [This is the reason why I absolutely HATE it when people say "u" and such; it gives me the wrong impression of them usually.] But what did we even talk about? I'm not sure. Lots of random stuff, I guess. He said that the asian guy he pushed into the foam at the party added him on Facebook, so now we know how to instantly befriend someone. :P And two of my friends think he could be a player.... X| I just don't see it. I mean, I don't think players are THAT devoted. He would have to be a hell of a multitasker if he could talk to me for sixteen hours and talk to other girls at the same time. I dunno though. I sort of feel like they just feel that way because people in California just don't act the same as people here in some areas. What do I know, though? I want to say more, even though it would probably be superfluous, but my roommates want to get brunch... ---Edit--- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH 11 Comments. :D Random's got a BOYFRIENDDDD. What would DC think? » middaymoon on 2009-09-07 11:37:34 Heheh. Just teasin'. I want to give this dude a high-five. » middaymoon on 2009-09-07 03:28:32 In my opinion, engaging with and befriending shy people is a pretty cool thing to do. And you're a pretty shy person, if I do say so myself. » middaymoon on 2009-09-07 04:14:27 And don't tell me that didn't make your day. » middaymoon on 2009-09-07 04:39:30 "You guys you guys you guys holy crap" And what's with the edit? » middaymoon on 2009-09-07 04:57:04 Lets see it, then. » middaymoon on 2009-09-07 05:19:27 Oh, HE got a haircut. Nevermind then. Though, your reaction is pretty funny, too. » middaymoon on 2009-09-07 05:43:25 I'm not agreeing with your friends that this guy is a player. for your sake, I hope he's not. but for someone who texts a lot, talking to multiple people at once isn't very difficult. the only thing you have to be careful of is sending the wrong text to the wrong person. I do agree with you, though, sometimes actually talking to the person is better. you tend to misinterpret moods via text. at least when you talk to a person on the phone, there's really no hiding the tone » LostSoul13 on 2009-09-07 06:01:26 depending on the phone, you can. I have before. I just put the person on speaker and type away. I personally don't like using speaker, though. it's just a pain. I have too much trouble hearing the person. for some reason I tend to focus on other things. » LostSoul13 on 2009-09-07 06:08:42 I've shaved my hair multiple times. You must not care about my hair. » middaymoon on 2009-09-07 06:55:23 Players don't need to be multitaskers. They just need to spend 16 hours on one girl and another 16 hours on another the next day. Did he text you for 16 hours today too? » Nuttz on 2009-09-08 06:30:18
