A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

Jhonen Vasquez's site Overheard in New York Passive Aggressive Notes Submarinechannel.com Superdickery UHpinions Whirled | The party I only found out about today Sunday, December 7, 2008 Lived up to my expectations. That is to say, it sucked. My parents are in this thing... were in this thing... called Young Couples Fellowship. Now, obviously they aren't young anymore (they're pretty middle-aged), but they still call it that for lack of a better term. Anyway, every year, around Christmas-ish time, we have to go to someone's house for a party. I have no idea what the point of it is, I guess they just like to get together. A lot of the other "young couples" have kids, too. And some of them are my age. For some strange reason beyond my comprehension, my parents think that our similarity in age makes us buddies. Why is it that people assume persons in the same age group get along? How does that make any sense at all? Needless to say, I'm not really friends with any of the other kids. Er... teenagers and some kids. Whatever. They've all got their own thing going on, and I'm just on a separate track, so to speak. [The girls are all fairly girly and preppy; the guys are into that "gangsta" crap and they're all into Christianity... I guess since this whole thing started with church it makes sense...] We arrived at some time, there weren't a lot of people yet. My mom immediately struck up a conversation with... one of the hosts... I listened to my iPod. A bit later, some of our family friends showed up (Gwenny's family, minus Gwenny). So the rest of the time I hung out with Aaron. (Who spelled his name as "Airin" on his cup- he said it was to rebel or something...) Mostly we just followed each other up and down the stairs and played Bop-It Extreme. Yeah, it was quite something. I think I only talked to like... three people, besides my mom and dad... And I didn't even feel antisocial... (Okay that's a lie, those people make me feel antisocial) I have a couple of pictures but I'm tired so I'm going to bed. [Sleepy-time for budgies and me!] 7 Comments. I know what you mean. You can't ever expect that an entire family will be buddies with an entire other family, though parents always hope that they will be. R:C - I know! He's got those fuzzy eyebrows and that completely staight nose, I just don't understand it. » jinyu on 2008-12-07 04:09:32 It was a chest bump. But in mid-air, it turned into a hug. Oh, yes. » middaymoon on 2008-12-07 04:58:23 lol i am sure that they are hilarious, as is often the case with old debacles. there was one entry where i was talking about a boy i liked and i was like "I LIKE HIM SO MUCH BUT I'M NOT GOING TO BE INSANE ABOUT IT" (yes, all in upper case). » ridiculosaur on 2008-12-07 07:54:48 Oh, and jorb is job. From Homestarrunner. The only thing I remember from that site so many years back » Ajibalaji89 on 2008-12-07 10:45:10 Sorry if I'm repeating this, but I don't think Naruto is that bad. It gets pretty annoying and isn't the best anime out there, but it's not bad. It could seriously be condensed, though. And the changing of the theme songs like right before the climax or in the middle of one of their missions, is annoying. » Ajibalaji89 on 2008-12-07 10:51:50 My friend Fernando had to go to a party like that last night. He said it was a bunch of doctors and their kids. When I saw him today he said that within the first hour multiple love triangles had formed. I assumed these love triangles were with the adults, and I was way interested. When I learned it was with the people our age I found myself quite dissapointed. » bananaface on 2008-12-07 11:37:06 ahh at least you got to play sum bopit extreme! haha and RYC: Well I dunno, maybe we could consider it that, matter of fact, the person who built that place up should go into the deepest layer of the Secondlife version of the Dante's Inferno, which has also been created on there, haha :-p » CPKviperpheonix on 2008-12-08 02:23:12
