A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

Jhonen Vasquez's site Overheard in New York Passive Aggressive Notes Submarinechannel.com Superdickery UHpinions Whirled | This title is amazing, you just can't tell Tuesday, July 29, 2008 Listening to: Gizmode by Zombie Nation I feel like playing The Sims 2, which I haven't touched in a while. The problem is that usually I just create a new character, make them have an affair with an old character, and leave. (Yes, I know it's terrible. Terribly fun!) I've really got to stop making everyone have a romance aspiration. :| Also I'm kind of hungry but I feel like there's nothing to eat. I had some Joe's Os with milk, but that was kind of eh. (They taste very rice-y to me and I still can't figure out why) Thinking about food so greasy that the oil sloshes through the chinks between your teeth and dribbles down your chin, and it's grossing me out. Also now I kind of want to brush my teeth.... There is a possibility that I will write a better entry later, but it's just a possibility. I wish I had Nightlife instead of Open for Business. Business sucks! Also, yay for Zombie Nation. :) For Halloween I am not seriously considering dressing up as a giant traffic cone. 7 Comments. hey you should do that (traffic cone thing)! also what are Joes o's? » AmbyrJayde on 2008-07-29 08:24:33 I was thinking the same thing. (About the o's, I mean. As a traffic cone I'm certain you would be mocked mercilessly. And not just by me. mwhahaha) » Praetorian on 2008-07-29 08:29:40 If you're gonna get any Sims 2 expansion pack, it's totally Seasons. Sim cell phone: 20 simoleons. Large lot: 5000 simoleons. Watching your Sim get struck by lightning? Priceless. But I, personally, am way more psyched for Sims 3. If you haven't checked it out and like Sims 2...do. Because it's amazing. » Unicornasaurus on 2008-07-29 09:38:07 my boyfriend just informed me that he likes to find different ways to kill off the characters in the Sims and leave their ghosts to haunt the places they're killed in. ha, with all the construction going on out here, being a traffic cone just might work . . . » LostSoul13 on 2008-07-30 01:50:32 gah! I should really start coming back more often. I can't believe I missed a picture entry ... >.< » LostSoul13 on 2008-07-30 01:55:46 I do the same things with my SIMS...I also do the family one though...and I get stuck with the Sim that wants 20 grandchildren. Screw that...I'm not in the mood to take care of 20 babies...of babies...lol » lazypuppy on 2008-07-30 11:16:07 Yes, they're definitely still buying. It's just... it's really really infuriating to be told 9+ times "we'll be leaving this day" only to have that day come and go. It drives one to insanity. » Praetorian on 2008-07-30 11:16:34
