Eh well, I got some done
Saturday, May 17, 2008
-Read my entire History textbook/"study" for SAT II Subject Test [Fail]
-Finish History project (slideshow)
-Write MG Goldfrapp review
-Finish final project for MG, soundtrack to my life
-Work on French project due May 13

-Come up with something for Praetorian with brighter colors [Meh]

Somebody else go make that thing for Praetorian. I don't have enough motivation to do it.

At least I wrote my review. I just need to find my proof for the Choral Project and I can turn it in.

This morning I got a chocolate hazelnut croissant, and then when we were heading back from the Farmer's Market I saw Alice. Her mom rolled down the window and she waved at me...

I feel... not so great. Maybe I'll come back later and try to write something else. I dunno.

---Edit---

I think I just heard my dad whistling that tune from The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly. :S

There are certain songs that will never have enough remixes. Like Mr. Sandman. Or Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?

The latest I've heard, of the latter, is the one by Those Damn Accordians. Hilarious. :P

Wait. No. The Benzedrine Monks of Santo Domonica version is even funnier.

I managed to restrain myself from spewing expletives at that... person... in my comment-that-rivals-most-of-my-essays. It was kind of hard though...

Well, no, don't get me wrong.
I see where it all comes from. I was just glad to see that he didn't think gays and lesbians were the scum of the earth and should be killed or something...but yeah. I see your points.

(The issue IS mentioned in the Bible, FYI. This isn't as new as people would think.)

I just wanted to say that religion isn't just people making things up because it helps them get along. That doesn't make logical sense. When Christianity was first getting started, it would have been so easy for the Jews and Romans to point out that Jesus never existed.

That's my piece.

Alright.
Same point. If he didn't do miracles, rise from the dead, and generally be awesome, the "rumors" would have been pretty easily squashed.

If you're willing to admit he was real, you might as well admit that he was God. I mean, think about it. He pretty much said "I am God", which was a pretty serious thing to do back then. He was either lying because he was crazy or evil, or telling the truth. Which do you think is true?

Yeah, I know that
the last part of my comment was just an extra thought. My point is, if they DID exaggerate everything, and nobody actually remembered any of it happening, then it never would have gotten off the ground.

Also, what would be the point of making all of it up? That's a pretty big lie to be spreading around, especially since the Jews would be killing everyone who said it.

I know you're ignoring my last comment :p
is this really that bad?
» middaymoon on 2008-05-19 07:52:18

well i'm also part of the antagonistic thought as well, and I think that religion can be just a false thing created to give people some type of hope... I think that could have been a possible reason why it could have been made up.. But i was never completely sure about that..
