You're unsure if I am a loose end or a strand
that waits for you to mend or understand
A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness."
~ D.H. Lawrence

"Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?"

"Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost."
~ Seneca

"People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect."
~ Daydream Nation

"All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death."
~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes

"The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road."
~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita

"It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend."
~ William Blake

Would you sell your soul to live your dreams out?
Sunday, October 14, 2007
Oh man.

Oh man it's so awesome.

I cannot express how happy I am with what I got yesterday.

I went.... and I got This Is Forever.

And.... it's just amazing. I swear.

I can once again fully declare that She Wants Revenge is my favorite band.

I'm putting up a couple of songs from the new album on my player. Listen if you're so inclined. :)

Oh, and I got the second Sandman book. Yay. :D

I almost forgot about the title. Line from "What I Want" on This Is Forever. Great song, I loved it live.

Answer the question if you care.

I like She Wants Revenge, but I don't know if I'd spend the money on a CD. At this point I have to really like the band in order to want a CD. {like the new Angels and Airwaves CD coming out =]}
anywho, a bingo dobber is the ink marker you use to cover the numbers when they are called. they come in all different colors {except dark cuz you need to be able to see the numbers} and I think this set is free so I'm all about getting it
» LostSoul13 on 2007-10-14 04:37:55

the plastic things that come with home bingo sets? ... I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about
» LostSoul13 on 2007-10-14 04:49:35

oh yeah, those. no, those aren't used in casino bingo. less of a mess to clean up afterwards. the ink dobbers allow you to use different colors. they're like collectables, but ones that you put to use.

RJ = O.G. as far as Pokemon goes.
» Dilated on 2007-10-14 10:49:14

the movie is across the universe.
and i wouldn't sell my soul for my dreams. my dreams are all things you need to have your soul for.
» bananaface on 2007-10-14 10:52:05

Yeah, I think I"m gonna buy some super-ultra-nonstick spray...
» ikimashokie on 2007-10-14 10:57:23

I wouldn't.
But I might sell other things. Seriously
» middaymoon on 2007-10-15 12:12:08

Wow
Randy I don't think I've ever seen you so excited! This certainly is progress. I might actually have to check out this group, despite that I usualy don't take musical recommendations from you :P
» The-Muffin-Man on 2007-10-15 02:12:19

OK
That's a lie. Some of your songs are good, just usually our tastes clash
