A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

Just kidding. :P I think we should be home by the eighteenth. Yay for me. :D Still in Maine. Tried this pizza place called Pat's Pizza. It's so awesome.... If we had one of them back in California I'd SO have my birthday party [food portion] there. If you ever come to Maine you HAVE TO try this place. I think they have locations all over this state. And one in Florida. Raspberry Lime Rickey soda = new favorite soft drink Seriously. But enough frantic advertising. I hope I don't end up with three hundred pictures. :S In Hawaii it was set to 3.1 megapixels, but it's back at 1.8 right now so I have more space.... which means more room for more pictures.... and I've already taken some hundred and fifty. :0 The bike tour is over, by the way. Oh yeah and there were all these shirts in the touristy part of town that said something like "Drinking, Fighting, Flogging, Wenching... These are a few of my favorite things". There was also an alternative one that had the ending "Oh, a pirate's life for me!" I dunno what it was with Bar Harbor and pirates. Never heard of any famous ones living/landing there. Got to go pack up now. I'll post again when I can. Clickies 4 Comments. I'd like to travel, but I'll have to have a car/job/etc first. :/ » ikimashokie on 2007-08-11 02:19:26 OMFG Why does Samara get alllll the attention...it's not fair she gets to pwn everyone in 7 days and I'm stuck in a lame house that nobody ever comes to. Nobody wants to watch me anymore because I SUCK. I'm much too lazy to log in as my actual self. I once stayed at a hotel called the Puffin Inn, I don't know why it reminds me of Pat's Pizza. What if it was Ed's Eatery. Would you still like it? » The Grudge (67.161.122.66) on 2007-08-11 05:02:33 Finally, a sign for english-reading dogs everywhere! wow. » invisible on 2007-08-12 12:42:15 Ooh, do you know where in Florida? I live down here, if it's close I'll try it. » Le_Jes on 2007-08-12 02:17:38
